It looks like an embossed logo, almost a shame to sand it off!

Hadn't thought of that, shame it's not on the headtube!

First proper ride yesterday evening, feels light and responsive.
Pleased with the build, both functionally and aesthetically, surprisingly light too.Need to dial the gears in a little - used a Shimano chain which I've read isn't a match made in heaven, going to order a KMC.
And either I'm shit at gluing tubs or Vittoria Rallys aren't the best quality (probably a bit of both), they have a lateral 'bump' which gave a pulsing feedback at speed. Back to the drawing board on that one...

Ouch.
I was testing out the chainset and front derailleur compatibility and one thing led to another. Firstly, and quite oddly, the derailleur doesn't clear a 53t chainring at the highest position on the hanger, and secondly when removing the chainset it popped out of the BB and damaged the new paint (and my foot!)
I was actually debating on removing the braze-on before painting because I usually run Q-rings which were totally out of the question on this frame. But since regular rings don't fit either, and I'll need to repaint that area now, I thought I'd throw caution into the wind and get rid of it.
Hacksaw, file, sandpaper. Here it is almost ready to start sanding...
