I got mine from Germany, UK is one of the last countries where everything still has to be soaked in flame retardants.

Does anyone have any sofa recommendations? Nothing too fancy, but also no IKEA preferably? Does anyone have experience with made.com stuff, I don’t really trust them with such a big purchase. Like their designs though.
Conran at M&S worked for me last time. Got a Conran Reynolds which I like (not in the colour below)

We’ve got a Made convertible sofa which we’re quite happy with. I suppose stitching could be better, but it’s more than good enough. And comfortable for sleeping too, according to our guests.

We have a couple of Made.com items, they look nice and are a bit more solid than the IKEA equivalent but they’re still flat(ish) pack. The finishing is a bit rough and the precision of the self-assembly joints isn’t great.
We also have a sofa workshop sofa (customised 4-seat Lady May), which is beautifully made but cost more than our car. Not sure I could bring myself to spend that on a sofa again, even though it’s the main sitting device in our house!
