Halo and Surly cogs all come from the same factory. They are produced by Andel.

Is there actually any noticeable difference between cogs of any price?

Materials and manufacturing tolerances

They should fit fine, Miche uses a different lockring though.

Yes.
I stayed bottom end to get a selection of fixed sprockets. I think the cheapest was a couple of quid from SJS, while functional you could instantly see it had been stamped as one side was smooth and rounded edges (from stamping) the other side was burred up. It fits it works, after some dremeling it runs quieter smoother. spend more and SJS do a chromed machined one.
Double the price and jump to Gusset, machined and chromed much nicer, fit and ride and forget. Does look similar to the SJS chromed one.
Double the price again and your in Dura ace, double or triple again and EAI olympic track with very high grade steel and coatings to reduce drag.
Need a new sprocket and I'm stumped on whether to stick to the surley ones or get one of these Halo ones.
