I’ve got a Dolan Ribble not dissimilar to this frame - it’s a lovely bike to ride

The frame was a "Sod it!" purchase, I have a bit of a Frank the Welder addiction when it comes to frames!

Nice it feels good, super skinny tubing in the flesh! Is it just the classic Ribble Decals? I'm intrigued as to what mine had originally.

Yeh, got to love FTW and the frames are just cool. I found a pic of my very budget/parts bin build. Fun times.

I've had this 2008 Lapierre Tech3 frameset (56cm ctt, 50cm ctc) in the attic for about 3 years now. Was originally Tiagra 3x9 speed with drops.
I couldn't find much about the geo, all the stickers say it's made by hand in France by LaPierre, however the RD hanger is a Kinesis so I would be interested in knowing if both brands were working together at the time (and produced similar models with different paint schemes & components).
Finally put it together yesterday with parts from the parts box. Flat bars, 2x10 speed.
Will post photos of it & spec tomorrow.
Cable colours have been carefully selected and will definitely be visually pleasing!

Made some small changes to my road logic, wheels changed from fulcrum 5 to fulcrum zero, seatpost from a zipp aluminium post to a deda super zero carbon post. Switched from Look to Ultegra pedals.

@withered_preacher and @amey will be pleased.
Here's the completed bike. @coventry_eagle I put those Tiagra 4700 thumb shifters to good use.
Cables carefully selected from leftovers I had.
If anyone knows more about this 2008 LaPierre Tech3, I'd be interested in knowing. Not much online for bikes before 2013.

It's kinda colour-matched aside from the orange housing?

Didn't have enough baby blue outer cable left unfortunately...
I put this together to get rid of parts really.
Noticed today that the big ring is 4mm off so will need to change it before it hits the classified.

I recently bought a sewing machine and have been learning to use it. Encouraged by some nice comments from people 'on here' I have met, I thought I would share some of the things I have made so far.
Started out with some tool rolls (1), and among other things have since made a messenger bag for my brother (2), waterproof laptop musette thing (3), frame bag with zip the wrong way round due to too many tinnies (4) and a festival bumbag that can convert to a handlebar bag (5).
It's been really satisfying making things that fit my stuff perfectly, and I have plenty more ideas in my head and my sketchbook. It's been great following some of the professionals and amateurs on here - one of the former (@Black_Rainbow_Project) even gifted me a trove of bits to play with.
