I suspect that'll be covered by an updated version of the Triple B.

Was going to say in, but there's a storm tomorrow. Will go ride some stairs instead.

Huh. Bugger.

Shitty pic but finished the BFe yesterday. Initial observation is that it's too long to fit comfortably on the train...

Let’s try this again
Gonna go to peaslake tomorrow. Train to Westhumble then ride over.
Anyone want to join? Expect eclectic mix of getting rad with a massive XC schlep.

Had a lower leg service + new seals fitted on my forks (Fox 34 Float FIT4). Got them back back and the medium compression setting doesn't work/isn't distinguishable from fully open. Added air and went to adjust rebound and the dial snapped off. I understand this is a common problem with the rebound adjuster seizing but the shop will have had to remove it to perform the oil change. Took them back and they're claiming compression damping is fine and broken adjuster is down to user error. I'm left with a pair of forks that feel worse than when I dropped them off for service and are now in need of a new rebound adjuster and full damper rebuild.
Where do I stand?

Did you speak to the manager?
I take it that this is a shop you’ve used before?
Maybe write an email to the manager stating exactly what has happened and the service you have received, importantly stay calm and polite in the email.Which shop?

If they are a fox dealer then hit up the distributor and tell them
If not...urrrgh

Been riding the new bike on some trails today . I’m liking rigid and the challenge but does mean being a little caution on drops jumps etc . Can someone guide me in the direction of a cheap front sus fork for me to save up for ? In the meantime I’ll carry on riding as it is.

@furious_tiles @howard sensible advice, thanks both. Bashed out an hour on the turbo and I'm feeling better for it.
Leisure Lakes - Fox dealer. I'm going to try to warranty them over the rebound issue.
@T0mg don't bother, too much hassle.

Yeah will probably just put money towards a new bike in future

Whoa that’s nice. Gonna try to source a DBAD (v-brake) version of that in extra-large, ASAP as possible.

I liked my Rockshox Recon Gold very much. The lockout is nice. And for £100 not bad price.

That sounds cheap? I've got some Tora 302s on my 456 (so straight steerer, 26" like the inbred) and for budget forks with lockout they seem fine if a little heavy. They're easy to DIY service, which is a big tick for me.

Yeah, 26” forks go for peanuts now. Seriously the damping is very nice, and they seemed very well made. Check eBay auctions.

What bike are they on? Lockout sounds good for riding around the city etc .
Also I am sold on the jones h bar on the bike. Much sweep, much comfort.

Just had a pop at the Badger Divide. Wasn’t lucky with weather but got most of it done. Pulled over at Dunblane. Melgarve Bothy was a highlight after a freezing wet climb.

That looked like a nice little adventure :-)
Ya :)
Lack of dropper is curious. Wonder if it’s because all suppliers who can do volume still end up being more spendy than brand x from CRC.
