Straight Cut Design made some bags for my fixie skidder adventure bike. Absolutely impeccable workmanship, the fit and design is spot on.

Looking forward to getting them stinking dirty on some bothy trips this month.

Lovely bike but I don't get your bottle set up. One bottle won't be enough for proper distance, so you must have something else in the bag? Why not just have a full frame bag and a big camelback in the bag?

Bladder in a framebag isn't that great to drink from when cycling in my experience. Zefal Magnum all the way. Although a bladder/framebag setup is worth the inconvenience when you're racing I guess.

What are options for installing guards on an undrilled fork crown? I have a columbus mud disc and considering mudguards this winter. Please don't say its new fork time

I bodged one on my Enve CX with cable ties for a while. Was surprisingly solid

Honestly considering new fork as a bodge will bother me if I get nice mudguards. I want full length front and rear with triple scoble flaps. New job has a lift instead of stairs to get to bike storage basement so no worry about ripping the guards off

You must have learnt a bit about geo by now. I currently have 72.5 ST/HT, 65mm bb drop and a 397 a-c fork. Will I die if I get a trendy 385mm gravel fork?

I would confidently say, you’ll be fine.

First proper ride on this was fun . Only hit the ground once. Can definitely see the benefits of a shorter stem on an mtb compared to this. Anyone got a dirt cheap 26 disc rear wheel?
