Does anyone have an idea of where I can watch Middlesex Vs Surrey stream tonight for free?
I'm on holiday with the family and quite fancy being an old man avoiding his family again, albeit on my phone and not in a stadium.
Crichd doesnt seem to be working

Did work. Didn't watch til the end.

I was there, great bowling from Finn to wrap it up. Surrey couldn't handle him

We've been fucking awful at everything this year; shame that Stewart's excuse will be 'the other team is allowed to play well'

Second test squad announced. Jofra and Leach in. Moeen dropped.
Thank God

That can only be good. Few 90+mph beamers to Smith might be our best chance of getting something from the series.

Well looks like all the blame for the first test is being placed on the bowlers, lets hope our middle order remember how to bat for this one, guess this means Woakes is moving up to 8, he is certainly good enough to bat there, especially at Lords (on current form you would push him above Bairstow!)...
- Burns
- Roy
- Root
- Denley
- Buttler
- Stokes
- Bairstow
- Woakes
- Archer
- Leach
- Broad
- Burns

Should think this could be denlys last chance to prove himself and few others are two innings away from being sent back to their counties find some form.

Yes, shame there isn't anyone really bashing the door down for inclusion, Sam Northeast and Dominic Sibley have remarkably similar records this year, so guess it depends if they want an opener or middle order.

Stokes needs to be in before Butter.
He's got a proper test mentality these days.
-
• #7787
Denly is lucky to still be there.

• #7788
Tom Banton is some prospect...

Kid looks seriously good, shame we're loaded with white ball openers

A keeper at that, we seem to have a production line of them.
Some of his shots are astonishing, plays a lot like KP...
-
• #7791
And now, we move onto Lords and an awful weather forecast. Day 5 at £20 might not look too bad after all

How much can a pitch change in a month? if it is anything like the eire test, it could be interesting...

I have wasted a work from home day for this.

Sounds like toss at 3pm and game on at 330
Couple of hours maybe -
• #7797
What are the odds they try to squeeze in 10 overs right at the end of the day, just to fuck over everyone who's been stuck waiting around all day?

smashing it down in central London - can't see it happening...

Listening to TMS and what Andrew Strauss (and his wife Ruth) have been through is really quite awful.
Edit : should of course include Glen McGrath in the above.
2nd edit. I’m working from home tomorrow but I feel a red shirt day coming on.

Had day 1 tickets - very disappointing! Tempted to claim ignorance and turn up tomorrow given that all tests should really start on thursdays
My tongue is quite firmly in my cheek here, btw...
