hey dazaa ,

i'm getting a slight humming from my mission cyrus 1 amp,
history , gave it a clean with some iso propyll alcohol spray about 3 weeks ago when i started to lose the left channel, fixed it fine , gave it a good hoover and spray, the hum wasn't noticable then but i've noticed the noise maybe the last week
amp is continually on, never turned off,

can anyone suggest what this is and how to fix it

if i were to guess it would be the transformer making the buzzing but i'm not an expert

Have you done isolation tests to see if removing any connected equipment changes the amp hum? Has anything been installed/changed at dicki Mansions recently? Does the hum volume increase as you increase the output volume?

i switched off cd player and tuner hum remained, switched of amp and hum remained, i think amps can hold a charge for a while, it seems to be amp related, hum doesn't change volume as volume is changed on the amp

i'll also check i didn't leave any loose bolts, maybe something isn't tight and resonating
i'll go and disconnect some leads later and see if that does anything
