• Honestly, there's nothing wrong with BB30 if it's assembled right. Majority of the time, people skip certain procedures and that leads to creaking or issues.
    Look at it this way, majority of industries use press fit bearings, but it only seems to be the cycle industry that has issues with it. This might be anecdotal, but it does hold a certain amount of truth in it.
    For example, certain crank brands offer near zero bearing protection in the form of gaskets or weather sealing, which yeah, might cause issues down the line, but it shouldn't be instant.
    Your RSV and my SV are the same.

    Build them right, and BB30 is a decent standard. I do it weekly and we rarely have any come back because we fit them how they're meant to be fit.
