  • I'd probably try to do it with one piece, because I'm lazy. Be careful not to put too much in the hole, the switch doesn't move far and you don't want to block it from moving altogether. If you could find one of the silicone covers that Garmin made it might stop it falling off again sometime in the future.

    The simplest option is just to stick the end of a key or something in there when you want to switch it on and off :)

  • What about not actually touching the button with sugru but just having it a few mm above given that the sealing wodge I'll fill it with will be flexible enough to press the button

    Obviously the pic below is pretty advanced/technical!!
