  • Any tips on lugged steel ss/fixed framesets with threaded fork and clearance for 35mm + mudguards? For commuting/city use. Sort of this Standert. But preferably in black.

  • That combo is difficult, I threw in even more impossible criteria for low q . Ended up with a narrower tire limit, though if you're ok with a 50mm+ chainline Bob Jackson may be able to help you.

  • I had the same requirements and bought an early 60s British bike (Soens) . It is designed for 27" wheels with mudguards, so with 700c the clearance should be good for a 32mm tyre. It has horizontal dropouts for chain tension, and no unsightly hanger either. It was also really cheap on eBay, you just need the time to find one.
