The Bug on the keyring is the best, most useful knife/tool I've ever had, I bought the guys in my family one each for xmas and they said the same, incredibly useful thing,

I had this exact idea in mind for impending nuptials. I've been learning towards Otter Messer Anchor knives though...

Nice one, enjoy. Mine is off to Devon soon, the "lanyard" will be replaced pronto as the thin one fitted looks a bit fragile & short.

Lanyard replaced, fits as a wrist loop too now.

I'm looking for something that can be attached to me and is elastic enough to use in in the hand.

My bestie turned up today with a birthday present for me. It’s a hori-hori. Apparently a Japanese ‘soil knife’, cutting trowel, or whatever. All round chunk of badassery, I think it might be on my belt in the garden for a long time to come!

We got hori hori knives from Genus and they are so useful. Amazing for weeding and much more.

Must resharpen ours soon.

Received a pair of their shears for my last Birthday, very satisfying to use and seem solid

I'm looking for a new knife for my allotment. Needs to have a folding and lockable blade and be strong enough for me to cut plants out of the ground for transplanting. Can anyone recommend anything

No9 has a thicker blade.

Problem with the farmers knife is it could close on my fingers when I'm trying to remove a plant. I need something idiot proof

Does it have to fold?

Out of curiosity how come you need such a beefy blade for cutting plants for transplanting?

Cutting through the soil. Should probably use a trowel but its a faff.
