Because Levy is an arrogant git.
Whereas Woodward is just mind bogglingly stupid. That deal with Leicester could’ve been done and dusted first week of June so that Maguire has a normal pre season.

I can see where you're coming from.
But it feels good/stressful/exciting to be linked to players who a young and can get better, and whom you could argue are genuinely world class.
I don't think Levy pays top dollar in wages for Dybala, because he knows that there's no resale value. Same with Coutinho whose on what, £270k a week, which we couldn't swallow especially if it's just a loan.
