Who’s that guy with the blog and does all the amazing resto stuff?

Puts step by step photos of all the servicing and whatever. Maybe someone like that?

I guess it ceases to be the same watch once you swap out the entire movement and the dial, but that’s what it needs to be anywhere half decent. Maybe a sympathetic third-party redial? This thing can’t ever be sold anyway.

@MementoMori - it might be worth contacting him but he can't work miracles. That dial is dead and if the movement is anything like the dial, that's likely gone too.

That’s the one. Knew it was an obvious name. Just though he may not work a miracle but he might be able to do something less eye-watering.

Or send it to me and I’ll stick in a Miyota quartz movement and paint flags on the dial.
