Can't believe Derby have managed to keep hold of Bogle, guy looks like such a good player. Leeds, Derby and Fulham to go up this season.

Still got a couple of days to worry about late bids coming in for Bogle. He is immense though. Lots of competition for young English right backs right now, but he will be up there with the best of them. I was happy to see him playing last night which means we aren't expecting to sell him unless a silly money bid comes in.
Still too early to predict any Championship standings. I'm sick of play-offs though, would be nice to be consistent for a whole season.

Rooney!
There'll be a red carpet reception at Bubbles.

Looking forward to seeing Rooney play defensive midfield, Dwight Yorke style.

possibly an awful lot of money (depending on which report you read) for a one year rental, of an attacking player who doesn't press and chase, as much as the player he may be replacing.
Thinking this is some devious Levy tactics to get betis and/or sporting back to the negotiating table for Lo Celso or Fernandes.
But I'be been here before, so not counting any chickens until they've (lo celso/ fernandes/ sessegnon) taken the medical and had the obligatory instagram reveal video.. -

Does Rooney dream of Paulo Souza?
-
• #150914
Rooney will never be management material. He’s so dense that light bends around him.
At least he won’t have to eat ‘foreign muck’ for much longer.

Spurs sniffing around Dybala apparently. Err, OK.
-
• #150916
Spurs have had a bid accepted, and now just have to negotiate personal terms........
-
• #150917
Just read that, so one or two (if we’re lucky) of dybala, Fernandes, Lo Celso, and possibly definitely Sessegnon..
Supposedly dybala asked for a shit tonne of money from utd as he didn’t want to go there, those in the know say he’s currently on about £100k a week, so affordable even with a pay rise.
Fuck levy doesn’t make it easy. -
• #150918
It would look really bad if you can get a player like that for a 'reasonable' transfer fee, and then wouldn't pay him enough. Harry Kane's wages + a London Weighting Allowance maybe.
-
• #150919
I can't envisage Dybala being a good signing for anyone; just feels like he'd leave after a season of teams kicking the shit out of him
-
• #150920
I have dreams of him being an Argentinian Juninho. And it’s not like he’d be alone, foyth and Lamela and Gazzaniga would welcome him with open arms.
As mentioned previously, not believing it’s true until he’s had the medical and the Instagram video is playing on various news outlets

We can pay decent wages, just not obscene wages £100-170k plus bonuses for the top players, just not £200-£300k.
If we did that too many other players hands would go up saying what about my pay rise. -
• #150922
Who cares?
-
• #150923
Money, I mean... Pfff...
-
• #150924
Guardian reports that Dybala is already on 300k a week. How on fucking Earth is Levy going to pay him more than that? It's Daniel Levy...

If Ronaldo wins the champions league with juventus would he be the first player to win it with three different clubs?
Good to hear. I think Cocu, though ambitious, will stick with you for a bit if things go right (get into the Premier League), and he's got enough experience (winning the league with PSV) so hopefully he can turn things around if you have a dip in form.
