That looks proportionally fantastic even with the 120 stem. With 70.5 and loaded, I imagine it'll feel well balanced loaded in crappy terrain. What's with the downtube bottle cage, looks a bit close to the guards?
Was thinking of one of these, but going to try out the Ribble Adventure 725 this week (they have a showroom in Bluewater) as it'll replace a similar bike but with more modern geo.

Design fault, they could have moved the bottle mount a little nearer to the BB, otherwise standard length bottle hit the guard.
Not too much of a problem, as I'll be going to the British Columbia with it without mudguard.

Moreso climbing, the Pinnacle Arkose was a little bit twitchy in a steep gravel climb with 30/34.
After fitting Teravail Rampart with tubeless, it a hella lots of fun.
The geometry on paper is very slack (70.5 head tube with 50mm rake), but it felt much more alive with the 650b that it's build with in mind, even when I have to fit 120mm stem on it (!!) to get the reach right.
The original 50c tyres were 670g each with 225g inner tube, which much to my amusement, was fine.
Obviously better tubeless naturally.
