Mudguards is very important IMHO. I would in hindsight keep the steel seatpost, but having a carbon seatpost does make it super light and responsive, just be careful you need to shim the collar and your seatpost won’t be a low as the standard one too.
S2L is a great choice. Mine is current in bits as I’ve ruined the chain and chain set, depending on how much you use it over a year I would service if everyone 6 months to keep it nice a fresh.
Just got a s2l. Its really nice! Suprisingly quick. Swapped out the bars for carbon a la @hoke and fitted a brooks cambium courtesy of @GreatSince78. Its got some upgraded roller wheels amd kojaks. Gonna stick a ti post on, change the brake pads and some stans in the tubes.
