No idea, think the agent does all that, I'm just gonna call and accept the highest. If they turn out to be sheisters the second best isn't far behind.

You can go a long way down the road before you find out they're sheisters.
What if second offer are chain free? and the highest bidder are a buy-to-let business?
Just throwing some scenarios out there :)

I wouldn't want to sell to a BTL'er but to be honest we need every penny with our move. Savage. Our biggest worry is that the purchasers bank downvalues the place. It's not likely but possible, since the offer was so much higher than sold prices in the area.
