Also, how do you modify the shifter again?

Just got a s2l. Its really nice! Suprisingly quick. Swapped out the bars for carbon a la @hoke and fitted a brooks cambium courtesy of @GreatSince78. Its got some upgraded roller wheels amd kojaks. Gonna stick a ti post on, change the brake pads and some stans in the tubes.

I am sorry, I meant sjs and even as I typed it I thought "aiee, I probably shouldn't ask that here". Just got a bit worried as there was a bit of a warning about brompton parts export

Mudguards is very important IMHO. I would in hindsight keep the steel seatpost, but having a carbon seatpost does make it super light and responsive, just be careful you need to shim the collar and your seatpost won’t be a low as the standard one too.
S2L is a great choice. Mine is current in bits as I’ve ruined the chain and chain set, depending on how much you use it over a year I would service if everyone 6 months to keep it nice a fresh.

Anyone has a black crankset that goes for cheap? Thanks
-
• #7172
Sorry if I missed mention of it in previous pages, @R.hobbs , were you not looking to make a more affordable version of a child seat? I'm vaguely contemplating a diy version but I reckon chances of making it work are slim...

Yes, but time avails!
I won’t be doing the production, just acting as a “manager” for it?
We shall see, our little human is steadily getting towards needing one so that’s pushing it, but not for a while realistically
Yes, just trim the mudguard, bolt it to the rack and your golden.
