Wayne Rooney to Derby?
Just imagine how many bleach cocktails Pisti might need if that happens.

I thought so too. Fulham playing chicken with levy, levy playing chicken with Fulham.
You would have thought a compromise would have been forthcoming. -

Why would he do that? He’s playing well in the states, rated highly over there by the public, the press and the fans, why would he come back to try to get derby into the premier league?
Are you owned by Americans? -

Wayne Rooney to Derby?
The average IQ will increase at least.

• #150882
can fulham afford to ? High stakes gambling from them keeping that expensive team together to be guided back by a coach with no experience. This west London 'coach with no experience' vibe eh?

It would be a player-coach role apparently. Perhaps he wants his family to live somewhere where there isn't so much gun violence? Probably need to tell him not to visit Nottingham.

As would our revenue. I guess this would also be a good money spinner for our chairman who seems to have a need for us to be in the media spotlight somehow.

I give in.
I know I'm going to Derby on Friday but getting wazza to meet me at pride park is a bit much. It's alright, my sister will meet me at the station and walk me to her office there.

Is it too soon to celebrate being in a playoff spot?

Yes.

Wayne Rooney's Derby County...
-
• #150891
Well we offloaded our deadwood manager to some London schmucks so it could well be our year.

I really hope we have a fizzing east Midlands derby atmosphere in here this year. Full of jibes, digs, "weartheshirt", statbombs, the fucking lot.

7/10
I hope this is not your best yet. -
• #150898
yeah i read that after I posted.
would that kind of ratchet up the pressure on Cocu, having Rooney in the background, any dip in form and there'd be calls for Cocu to get the boot and Rooney to step in.Got to say I did not see Rooney as the managering type.

Nah, the word from our chairman is that Cocu is fully on board and as excited as he is at the prospect with Rooney. Cocu won't be dumped by our chairman either, he has learnt his lesson from sacking managers at the first sign of poor form.
I don't think Rooney is managerial material either, but will hopefully be a very good coach. Possibly for our youngsters looking to break through from our u18 champions squad into the first team. We'll see.
Every trophy they have won in the past decade?
