Probs best to just get a new one.
I got 2 in as they where a pain to get hold of and a size that's not generally found at a "reduced" price, or even in stock anywhere. So expect RRP and a few weeks wait. I had to use a cheap 2 part steel post for a few months while searching always with the worry that the post would seperate in a crash and ream me a new one.
I wouldn't have sold the new one as if i use the frame again i don't have the hassle of "finding" another costly seatpost. Same goes for a future possible owner.

Now if one of the frame kits had sold.... then i could have bought other items in with me as cost effective, and i do have a used 25.4 as it turned out no bites so back in storage until i get round to using ebay/paypal which is not a priority.

Keep hunting another will turn up :)
