SOLD.
1990ish Bridgestone Radac 'hybrid' hybrid (I'll explain below), with original spec stem, cranks, rear mech and seat post, some new consumables and a sweet, sweet vintage Cannondale bar bag.
Frame is made from a lugged and bonded aluminium front section with a steel rear triangle bonded into the BB and bolted into the frame at the seat clamp bolt. This design was used on road bikes to save weight but keep the 'feel' of a steel rear end and there are some lovely examples out there of these high end road bikes. I've only ever seen two of these hybrid versions in the UK (both Japanese imports) and the other is still in my garage. Frame size is 54cm top tube, 50cm seat tube, odd 25.8 post, 1" head tube, for 700c wheels, British threaded BB and headset. There are clearly plenty of marks and some missing paint, some surface rust too and the used parts are not mint. The frame hung around a bit so I thought I may as well build it but having two is greedy.
Bridgestone Radac frame and steel fork - mudguard eyelets, single rear gear routing only, takes a 700c x 32c tyre
Period Tange Levin CD headset in white
Original Bridgestone Sakae made stem with built in bell
Swoopy aluminium bar
Original SR seat post
1990 stamped Selle Italia Turbo
New BB
New cables (gear outer cable is NOS Shimano 600 FYI), left a little longer in case you want a more biggerer bar
Tektro brakes with new pads
NOS Shimano Exage brake levers with in built push push 7 speed shifter
NOS ATI grips
Shimano Exage rear mech
Shimano Exage white chainset with original bash guards
New chain
New Shimano 7 speed cassette
Shimano RSX on Rigida rims
New Vittoria Zafiro Pro 32c tyres
Shimano QR levers
Bottle cage
New decent, but plastic flat pedals
Cannondale bar bag, made in the USA with original mount, good nick
All in all it's a mechanically sound if slightly ratty bike, very rare frameset and some nice bits but not so fancy you wouldn't use it every day. It would be worth going balls out and adding a Nitto bar, nicer wheels, gumwall tyres etc imho.
