Look for hybrid frames. Touring frames tend to be a bit too overbuilt.
My Koga Miyata kicks ass.
Kuwahara Pacer is quadruple butted radness.
Marin made loads of hybrids.
Kona Dew + similar.
Bridgestone made some lovely frames but rare now.
Cannondale touring frames are great.
There’s a rad Schwinn Crisscross on eBay, worth it for the name alone.When you get one, get decent Shimano v brakes and nice coolstop pads. This is a combo to make you very happy. And shit on disc brakes, mostly.

I’m in the market for a 90’s 700c hybrid. Something by an older mtb brand, am aware of the Marin Sausalito and trek multitrack.
What else should I be searching for? Something with above bso spec parts would be nice if many were made?
If anyone has one for sale that’d suit me at 5’9 that’d be rad.
Will just be for shopping and general fucking around on.
