Wanted: cheap usable vintage road wheelset

700c screw on freewheel wheelset please. Anything half decent with alloy rims that's true/able to be trued. Can need hub servicing etc as long as the races aren't toast. Doesn't need to come with tyres or freewheel etc but I won't say no.
Anyone got anything they need rid of? Collection in London.

No steel rims?

I have a steel wheelset going spare. Replaced it with an alloy one.
Trued, 700 x 28mm tyres and tubes, 6 speed freewheel.

Off an early 80's Raleigh.

Not pretty but hey it's free

I’ve got lots that fit that description including Mavic on Campag. What’s the budget and I’ll pullout something suitable.

Only downside is that I’m not London based but I’m sure we can sort something out.
