Her tracker has her stopped for over an hour outside of town, perhaps just the mountains interference as Samuli said. One to watch, she has been quite consistent and looks in good spirits though to now.

Does she bivvy? That looks like a bivvy spot (or maybe she's just resting).

Maybe not? She is packing very light and seems to get metronomic sleep of 5 hours per day. JH240 has branched from the main route there. Cap 236 following Pawel's path. Nice, Ben's taking a different path here.

Yes, I haven't been following her closely. Perhaps it is the mountain interference, as you say. I just thought the position of the dot looked like the sort of place where one would end up by walking a short distance into the forest.

I saw 39.5 on that fucking CP1 climb. So salty, I was.

CP2 harder than last year's cp4 but only because I did it at night with a storm. Vis was like 5m. So hard to find some of those tracks.

If I'm still riding (I hate being that guy that doesn't quit, I'd love to fuck off home) I'll take some places back in France but a top 10 is fucked away and I'll probably not better my TCR4 result. Basically, fuck this, I should stick to my drinking.

You can always go back to being a world champion.

I’d always thought that hippy rode the TCR in order to be able to stuff his face at petrol stations and talk incessantly about his arse for two weeks. I didn’t realise that he was also there for the racing.
