I saw a Badger in Epping today. Unfortunately it wasn't of the Honey variety, and also unfortunately, it was dead.

No, I can't recall seeing one either. It was at the end of the arrow, on the path that runs alongside the field. No sign of any injury, maybe it just dropped dead. I've seen a Badger hole in that area, but you never know if it's an active sett or not, unless you stake it out.

If you mean from south to north, I'm pretty sure if you cross the road you can go under the M25 and along that strip of trees to Copped Hall green. Though i haven't done it for years, maybe I'm wrong, and it may be overgrown etc. I tend to via off to the left along the strip of trees between the fields in the first photo.
