Canti studs look a bit naff and non-compact bars are not for me.
Having never ridden a bike competetively I'm not that concerned with weight.I can't totally understand buyer's remorse and why not all people will want a Surly.
I was just trying to make the point that there's a reason they cost more money.

Mate you're gonna love the 2020 Decathlon Riverside adventure bike (200 magazine wrote a long and very informative article on it, but it's not online unfortunately).
