I bet they give you a voucher

The customer service replies are very slow. I’m getting one every 24 hours.
Also I was unable to get help through live chat, they said I had to email.
I did receive an email today offering a voucher for my Classic bib shorts as the pad stitching cannot be repaired (by Rapha).

I have always worn castelli bib shorts, however I've not been that impressed with how long my most recent pair have lasted. I'm thinking about getting some core bib shorts from rapha. How does the sizing compare between the core range an castelli?
-
• #33439
Do the core bib shorts size up the same as the classic bib shorts? TIA
-
• #33440
The cut is the same as classic. However, you might find that they're not as stretchy as the classics.
-
• #33441
Cheers, I'm not as stretchy as I used to be anyway. Will give them a go.

Anyone want to part with their arenberg glasses?
Need bright light and clear lenses.I seem to have lost my glasses again, doh!
-
• #33444
I emailed Rapha today about the stitching coming apart on my Pro Team bib shorts. They said I can send them in for repair.
Last week they said they couldn’t repair stitching on my Classic bib shorts and issued a gift card.
Any idea why the Pro Team can be repaired but not the Classics? I would of thought the stitching/machine used is the same across all Rapha bibs.

It's not.

I want entire glasses. Lost mine. Arenburg seem robust enough and can swap from dark to light lenses.
So full frames
1x bright light lenss
1x night (clear lense) -

brevet mitts any good? got a voucher burning a hole in my pocket, and need some new mitts.
-

Dunno about Brevet specifically but my experience is that Rapha's gloves seem to be their weakest area by some distance (I've had stitching/hole/fit/performance issues with at least 5 different varieties over the years). Admittedly most of them took a bit of a battering but I have a bag of old ones from other manufacturers that all seem tougher and more comfortable somehow... I suspect Rapha just try to make them too 'nice' without really considering that they are gonna get pummeled and filthy.
List of issues..
1) 'Winter' gloves that unfathomably mange to be colder than wearing a pair of thin cotton socks on your hands (don't ask how I found this out)
2) 2x mitts where the palm detached from the rest of the glove
3) 1x mitts where they stretched so much a gorilla could have worn them
4) 1x mitts where the fingers are ridiculously tight (same size as the gorilla ones)
5) Full finger ones where the stitching fell out on 3 fingers and 2 thumbs
6) Waterproof gloves that leak
7) Reflective detailing that vanishes after a couple of washes (not exclusive to their gloves, how come others can make this stuff last 'forever' - i.e on my 7 year old, 1000x washed Gabba?) -

I bought mine ahead of a 1200 audax. They were fine for that, but haven't worn them since so no idea about durability.

Had a pair last year, well 3 pairs as the first two disintegrated too quickly. Used them for commuting and road rides for about 300km before the stitching came undone on them. Eventually just returned the 3rd set.
When can I buy an EF waterproof?
