Do you need a license if you're not using a rod? Touring Scotland this month and thinking about taking the bare essentials... line, hook, float, bait etc

Owners of fishing rights are likely to be more of a problem.

Good point. I have a license but like the idea of seeing what I could catch in Loch Ness, Lochy and Oich, I'll have my bike so can easily pedal away!
