Maybe I was just naive and didn't realise they only produced touring bikes. I could live with it being heavy, but didn't expect such a stiff uncomfortable ride quality. They built no compliance into the frame, I owned a Giant tcx at the same time that was far more comfortable over long mixed terrain rides. Bought it because I liked the way it looked and the illusion of a rugged all terrain bike, but it's marketing nonsense unless you're planning on fully loaded tours.
