• I’m selling a 2018 Pinnacle Arkose that have been heavily upgraded in the last years for various type of riding/touring.

It had nearly 6,000km done on it, and still a fantastic bike to this day.

    • Shimano RS405 shifter/hydraulic brakes, with r7070 front callipers (original leak, rear is 100% fine).
    • Sora hollowtech chainset with 46t SRAM narrow/wide chainring, can be change to a 44t Hope upon request.
    • Shimano XT 11 speed rear derailleur with jtek shiftmate to concert cable pull from road to MTB derailleur, worked flawlessly, can run up to 11-46t, or 11-42t with a standard double.
    • Hope Pro hubs with Stan Arch 650b wheelset, a new front bearing have been fitted and a new steel freehubs to replace the old alu one (this take 10 speed only).
    • Panaracer Pasela 650b 42mm, can accept up to 52mm tyres (2.1) with enough clearance.
    • Brand new saddle, seatpost, stem (100mm) and handlebar (42cm) are Canyon own.
    • Stickers are free.
    • Drivetrain is 11-36t due to being used for commuting.

The rotor, pads, chain and cassette have been recently changed at 200km ago.

Headset and BB bearing have been checked and spin perfectly smooth as the day Amey is born.

Despite appearance, it’s an excellent bike and I’m genuinely sad to see it go.

NOTE; the headtube has a deep erosion from the old handlebar bag that rubbed against it during the West Highland Trail, I consulted with Pinnacle and their designer to find out how bad it is, fortunately, they say the bike is perfectly fine after sending them numerous photos and can provide email correspondence upon request.

SIZES; this is a woman Tall/Large, this mean it fit like a medium/54cm roads bike but with the headtube of an extra large/58cm road bike, the slammed 100mm stem still provides a high position.

    Stack: 595mm
    Reach 390mm

While touring, it was very stable and comfortable from fighting a notorious Basque headwind for 80km to ascending an old dirt road to a 2150 metres mountain refuge in the Pyrenees, it very much fits the bill as a great all-rounder regardless of the circumstance.

PRICE; £485 ONO, collection from Purley, can post at cost.

  • bargain, great bike and will obviously be in tip top condition

  • great bike, scoble is a lovely woman

  • If I had spare £££ not for Bromptons..

  • I'm very interested in this. Random question, do you or does anyone know if there would be any issues with the hamax child seats that attaches to the seat tube and this or aluminium bike in general?

  • No issues.

  • I have checked the clearance, there’s plenty for a Hamax child seat bracket to be fitted.

  • how tall are you Ed?

  • Great, then I'm keen. Looking at geo charts, at 5"9 I should fit just fine on this.

  • I’m a little taller than you, so yeah it can fit quite a broad range of people with a quick swap of the stem.

Can fit pedal for a test ride in Purley’s Cycle Republic.

  • Ooooo... That would be ace. Trying to see if I can leave the little munchkin behind this weekend and give it a look over.

  • If swmlon doesn't take this I'm interested!

  • Has this sold?

  • By Saturday/Sunday if I can get myself to Purley :D

  • Nae bother, was asking for a friend.
