Hah. Letting them know might be a good idea. Not sure if there's anything better to replace it with though, maybe only CDX.

It’s just a square taper crank. Probably 130bcd.
Replace it with anything you like.
Hey. So I somehow managed to break off the left arm of my Gates CDN S150 crankset. Thought it won't be a biggie to find a spare, but it seems that no one sells them separately and it's quite hard to find a decent substitute. The arm itself is 170mm and has no curve to it, so completely flat when laid flat. Almost all spares I can find on ebay have some sort of profile which is probably not ideal? I know it's not the most popular drivetrain in the world, but maybe someone has dealt with this or just has a suggestion? I found a few that are mostly flat, among them is a Compagnolo one that looks alright, but then read that it might not fit properly.
