Apex mech is equivalent of a long cage I think. In any case it's designed around a compact crank and 11-34 or something.

31.8 is pretty common for steel/alu frames, shims are available for 31.8 down to 28.6 for about £3 also.

Sale has been agreed on the Stan's wheels, but will let you know if anything changes
