  • Cheers. Your 853 equilibrium sale thread catalysed the thought process that has lead us here. I expect it to clear 700x42 slicks, haven’t tested this yet but put a half inflated 38 in and there looked plenty room. Personally I reckon 700 x 38-42 is perfect for general road riding/touring/gravé.

    Haven't personally done the N=1 plunge but feel like I'm almost there. A while ago I stopped wanting really wide tyres and agree, never really felt I need wider than 38 width tyres. Looks like Bob Jackson did a great job as you'd expect.

  • I’m not going n=1 extremist but the garage needs rationalising. The build from my CDF will be going onto this, then the build from my day onex10 will go into the cdf for commuting and day to day duties. I expect it’ll be hard to justify keeping my Donohue road bike once the fugio is up and running.... (hoping it rides as well as I expect it will)
