The tap will come off and there will be a Thermostatic Mixer Valve inside.
Take it to a good plumbers merchant and replace it.

As Mr Sworld says it'll be the mixer valve. I sadly could find nowhere that had the same one as mine, there appear to be 1000s and bought a whole new part like Spindrift did, but fitted it myself without too much trouble

My shower is a bit leaky (2 bits but I imagine the same cause) how do I work out where it is coming from/fix it?
Also want to regrout so don’t mind if need needs to come apart quite a lot to fix.
