The never ending quest to get down to a sensible number of bikes continues, and this is the next logical casualty, unfortunately. I've owned it for about a year, rode it on a few club runs in the winter, then it sat on the turbo in the spring. It's really, really lovely, but I just don't think I'm going to use it as much as I like this year, and I don't have the space or cash to have it 'just in case'.
I bought it off a guy who bought it at a cycle show. It was Dave Yates' attempt to make as light a 'proper' steel frame as possible, so it's a mix of tubes. It even has a custom sticker - FAS stands for 'Fucking All Sorts'. I would love this to actually be ridden for what it's intended, rather than just sitting on a turbo or hanging in the back room.
Paint is purple sparkle which looks amazing, and it is properly light. It's about 8.5kg in the picture, with full guards. Obviously, it's really well built.
55cm effective top tube, fits me great at 182cm
Clearance for 28c and guards (even has proper eyelets under fork and brake bridge)
No dents, just a couple of paint chips
1" threadless forks
Includes Chorus headset, I can include the r650 callipers for an extra £25.
I paid £320 plus postage and would like that back, as much as possible so I'm asking £320 posted (I'm in York).
