Hi all,

I have this lovely small Mongeard mixte in 52cm for sale. All serviced and ready to ride.

Built in 1980 by Mongeard, which was a vélociste in Epernay (Champagne region, France) which has long closed unfortunately.

Seat tube is 52cm centre to top so quite a small frame.
Top tube is 54cm projected so with swept bars, it will fit a lucky lady around 5ft4 ish

• Frame: 52cm. Tubing not specified so most likely made out of durable 20-30 steel. . Lovely powder blue colour - a couple of marks and scuffs but no dents. Front rack, full Bluemels mudguards.
  
• Seatpost: short 25.4mm quill seatpost (moves freely) with an Italia Ti saddle.
  
• Cockpit: 48cm Belleri swept back bars (aluminium), 60mm Belleri quill stem (moves freely), new jagwire red/white outer cables. Headset bearings adjusted (no play).
  
• Brakes: Mafac 521 centre pull brakes with new pads with leather inserts all around.
  
• Wheels: Clincher steel rims which has been re-tensioned and trued. Tyres are good used 700x28mm Michelin Dynamic gumwalls.
  
• Gearset: Solida double square taper cranks, bottom bracket has been adjusted (no play). 5 speed rear freewheel, Simplex downtube shifter, front derailleur & rear derailleur. Chain is in good condition.
  
  

The bike rides well and there are a few new parts so you will be good for a few thousand miles.
It has done 39 years so if you take care if it, it should be good for another 39 years!

Price wise, I am after SOLD FOR £170 for it.
