... though I don't think that's a step up from us, or for him.
Are you on crack today?

nope.

Mount, CHO and RLC all signed up to long term deals. This should be the season to take any doubt about their abilities away.
Top six and a good run in the cups and I’d be more than happy.

Atlético beat Real 7-3 after going up 5-0 at halftime. Costa scored 4 and got a red card that’s worth watching the highlights for alone

Get him back!
Oh, wait...

Big Nose and his little Belgian mate stuck on the bench for the rest of the season... Nice...

when athletico bought Felix from under everyones noses it was time to sit up. They are really going for it. I think they and Simione especially have been talked down as if they are just a boring defensive thug team when actually they have achieved amazing amounts in the last few years. would happily watch them rub Real and Barca's faces in it this season

Our new 3rd kit is... challenging
Maybe we’re going for dazzle camo to confuse the opposition

Before the game Big Nose was talking to the press about how well his preseason had gone and how he deserved to be a starter this season.
Oh dear.

Arsenal sign Pepe from Lille for €80m

My brother in law is coming into UK in September and I would like to buy 3 tickets to see Tottenham/Southampton without spending £500.
Where is the best place to buy?
Thank you -

(Spurs fan btw). Massive money but then so's every transfer but unless Arsenal have a 'blank cheque' approach to this season's transfer business why aren't they spending £72m on buying 2 excellent - or even decent - defenders?

Tickets for that game go on sale to members Mon 19 Aug and Tue 20 Aug, seeing as the first three games sold out not sure they’ll get to general sale.
It’s a category b game so demand might be less.
Only way fans can legally sell tickets on is through the spurs ticket exchange. I have no idea if this works or not. -

Been wondering why Daniel Taylor isn't writing in the guardian?

Them too.

Seems they are investing in a lot of football writing talent

Not sure. We’re over paying big time - I’d value Pepe at £50-55m so €80m is a fair step up. To be honest I can think of 10 CBs I’d be going for and saving money on the wide forward. But I don’t work at Arsenal and as a fan the idea of seeing Lacazette, Pepe and Aubameyang up front is really fucking cool

Daniel Taylor was interviewing for the mail. The fucking mail.

Big story at the moment, they're splashing the cash to buy up a lot of big name journalists. The papers are hoping that if they don't mention it no one will notice
-
• #150799
Thanks! I ll check that ticket exchange market. It might be difficult to find 3 seats together though.

Poor old Barney Ronay. I guess they figured the American's just wouldn't understand his unique approach to the English language.
Real want Pogba, Zidane isn't high on Eriksen, maybe Juventus as a player plus cash for Dybala, Utd are interested - though I don't think that's a step up from us, or for him. Atletico Madrid were supposed to be interested, but have turned to Rodriguez.
He said he wanted a challenge, and his wages currently wouldn't put any one off, but the hoarding of attacking talent at the clubs that are perennial champions league participants means he's short of a landing spot.
