  • The Epstein story is horrifying and fascinating in so many ways. I found the Behind the Bastards 2-part podcast on Epstein an interesting/saddening listen and a good introduction to the extent of the case, his crimes and how lax the US system to those in power/with money (I guess it isn’t too different on this side of the Atlantic either).

    What I found incredibly interesting from the above-mentioned podcast was the mention of Epstein’s mid-00’s case in which a non-prosecution agreement was reached shutting down the FBI case into Epstein, concealing the full extent of his crimes, and granted four named accomplices’ immunity along with anyone else involved whom the Government hadn’t found out about (approx 30mins into part2 of the below)

    Coincidentally, the attorney who brokered the team with Epstein went on to become Trump’s labour secretary.
