Tartaglione is charged in a five-count indictment for a conspiracy to
distribute at least 5 kilograms of cocaine and "the senseless murder"
of the four men, which was part of that conspiracy, U.S. Attorney
Preet Bharara said in a statement. The former cop pleaded not guilty
to the charges at his arraignment Monday.
