My rear tyre on my tourer had split near the rim and was condemned, picked up some 32c replacements, when I fitted them I noticed the outgoing rubber was 28c.
I now have a 28c front and a 32c rear.
I know the difference is not great, but is it ok? Or should i switch them to wider at the front, or replace both to 32c?
In my MTB days I ran 2" rears and 2.4" front for better grip, but that was thrashing around muddy woods, not the pot holes tarmac treasures of South Essex.
