I'd take the forks if anyone wanted to split.

I thought somebody might! Give it a week or so and I'll consider it.

Midweek price drop! Might end up splitting this as I need it cleared out, so let me know if you're interested.

Price for frame and forks?

I'm guessing that you'd probably want the seatpost as well as it's 25.4mm, which most people don't have kicking around. £30 for all that lot (or £45 if you want to swap in the carbon seatpost for sale on my clearout thread).

This frame is now free, chuck in a beer and you can have the seatpost too. Otherwise it will be donated in a week's time. Must be collected from SW London (zone 2).
Fork is sold. Brakes, stem and bars (also free) listed in my clearout thread linked above.

Last chance for a free frame, otherwise it gets slung out tomorrow.
I built this up about 6 years back and it was my secondary commuter (on those days when I fancied commuting fixed). It's picked up a bit of wear, but still has the makings of a good runaround. This was it when I built it up, now I've taken the wheels for another build. Shown set up for me (6ft tall, long legs), best suited for someone 6ft or taller (62cm seattube ctc, 58cm toptube ctc).
Photos here, more on request. Pickup from SW11.
Frame: Raleigh Equipe 62 x 58 ctc. Nothing special as far as the steel goes (which is sometimes better for a big frame), definitely beater material, but dead solid. Nice clean lines without bottle-cage bosses or downtube shifter mounts. I've rattified it slightly, by touching up some rust spots with hammerite rust-stop. Clearance for 28mm tyres plus mudguards. Rear spacing is 120mm.
Forks: Not the original, but"Akisu" brand full chrome (which I got for £35 NOS). Quite a nice fork and the chrome is in good nick (I've kept it turtle-waxed). Apparently Akisu used to build forks for Diamond-Back, so pretty good quality. I left the steerer uncut, so you can get quite a nice high front end
Stem and bars: Standard issue Raleigh (SR Custom) for the period, about 40cm wide. Charge tape is pretty worn, so could do with replacing.
Brakes: Shimao SLR levers, linked to Tektro 316 calipers, I might be able to throw in a couple of sets of basic pads.
Headset: Tange Levin, although the locknut is mismatched. Slightly indexed, so could do with repacking with loose bearings.
Cranks and BB: SR Silstar 165mm. Nice and short for riding fixed, quite a nice classic looking crank. Originally a double (118mm BCD), comes with the 42T which I was running and has loads of life left, plus a spare 52T chainring. BB is the cup-and-cone original, spins nice and freely, might benefit from new grease.
This has been great fun to ride, but I'm moving on to something more middle-aged. Add some wheels, a chain and a saddle and this will make a great daily runaround.
