Other than having a date the Orient is a good shout. Although not having a watch is a sensible option if you're struggling, and better than wearing a steel sports watch.
As a side note - does "Black tie" preclude a dark navy tux? ( I don't normally do formal events...)

A blue one may have been a cool move if you'd worn it immediately after Daniel Craig. It won't be now.
Ideally you want the most common style of DJ that is in keeping with current trends - bow tie on the smaller side. Single cuffs. No ruffles in the shirt. Slim lapel. Etc. (I assume this is all still current).
Thinking about getting an Orient Bambino with a silver/white dial for my upcoming Black tie event... failing finding an economic vintage alternative. This would work right?
Would put a black strap on. Also, the Orient is about $168 delivered to aus... seems a bargain.
