@cornelius_blackfoot Last year I quit my job (giving three months notice) and made my last day July 6th (the Friday before the Tour started). I then took a year off and my new job starts August 12th.

This took quite a bit of planning, saving up etc. but I got to watch the whole of the last two Tours and this year's Giro 😂

Dunno man. You don’t even mention the Vuelta. Sounds a bit snobby to me. Did you even Classics?

I did Vuelta but I was moving out to/living in Italy/starting study over there at the time so couldn't watch it live (or the highlights tbh, because Italy and internet) but listened to all the Cycling Podcast coverage. Classics yes, but they're on weekends so don't count ;)
