Have io admit total defeat with this, brought a few weeks back, totally impressed by the frame, loads of nice details and features and pretty lightweight, but I cannot use :-(
Please reference that link, it’s got loads of information about the frame. PhiljimPott was previous owner and his original sale thread illustrates it well.
I’m pretty sure you’d need to be quite tall to ride this it’s got tall person geometry I’m 5’10 and it didn’t work out, cannot stand over my feet (toes) do not ground. I’ve 30” shortish legs, and touch the toptube.
Takes 130mm rear 700c
Front 100mm 700c
27.2 seatpost
1”1/8 stem
Has braze on gear bosses with stop adjusters, but has horizontal dropouts that are adjustable for single speed or fixed.
I’ll let it go for £100 collected or £120 posted. So hope someone take, as I need to invest in correct frame size, my duh! It’s in NW6 London.
Please consider this totally rad Salsa Casserole frame. I’d definitely keep it had been maybe a size or two smaller, would be great with pizza type rack on front, and some nice trick maybe ratty parts. Bombproof city steel is real utility style cruiser or whatever.
