  • Just WiFi in general. Had a ducking week of it - probably done more I.T. than actual work.

  • Good shout, I'll give it a go thanks

  • Nah it's some other news app, don't recall dowloading/installing it either

  • All the jesus drivel in hospitals, I'm in pain FUCK OFFFF

  • Only done this once but I already hate it:
Pulling a water bottle stopper open with my teeth only for the whole top to come off and dump 500ml of water over me.

  • Sounds like basic user error. Resolving your incompetence should solve this.

  • I recently got a coach from Leeds to London (who can afford the train eh?) And somebody was throwing up in the toilet for about 80% of the 5 hour journey. I felt sorry for them obviously but they never quite figured out how to lock the door (it's just a normal lock) so they must have got walked in on at least 20 times.

  • I feel like designing a bottle with my incompetence in mind would be the easier task.

  • ?

  • Now you’re talking!

  • Jarvis Cocker. Tedium.

And his geography teacher shtick is really fucking grating

  • When you are washing up and that other special person in your life throws a few items of cutlery in there as a 'helpful' contribution as if to say "Do these first" or "I'm not just standing around watching you graft" or "Ha ha ha, you thought you had it all waiting on the side to be done in the right order eh? Well I know best, so take this you OCD sad act"

  • Go buy a new bike. That’ll learn ‘em

  • On a similar theme: people who leave things ‘to soak’.

Not much help when you have to throw away dirty water with congealed grease.

  • My wife does this with the (formerly) very sharp kitchen knives and hides them under a covering of bubbles. You put your hand in to check for any teaspoons and find something nasty.
Also opened tin lids for rinsing before recycling, sharp as fuck. She is a H&S nightmare.
While we're at it she doesn't put lids back on anything properly.

  • Adding anything to the water whilst I'm washing up grinds my gears.
I have a system, and I stack accordingly on the draining board.

Also, when DethWife is washing and puts any old thing on the draining rack, stacked precariously, like a madman's Jenga, waiting for me to dry the wrong plate or mug and it all comes crashing down.

  • While we're at it she doesn't put lids back on anything properly.

Are you living in my house?

  • Who knew this was such an issue? I also spend time taking out the things that my girlfriend has helpfully added whilst doing the washing up.

Adding glasses to dirty water is the worst crime.

  • My wife doesn’t rinse stuff. It just goes on the rack with suds all over it.

    Lunacy.

  • Her cup with tea and a teabag still in it!
We use a washing up bowl in the sink so that you can remove it if required.
She also does a lot of washing up with the hot water continuously running into the bowl and overflowing into the sink.
I try and encourage use of the dishwasher as often as possible for all the above reasons, except proper knives.

  • Hate going to a gallery when:

    1) It's just a bunch of people bumbling around filming everything on their phones for the 'gram and constantly bumping into you
    2) Parents are letting their kids run amok punching the exhibits and generally acting like little twats

Had both at Olafur Eliasson at the weekend. I hasten to add that I have no problem with kids being taken to galleries and being able to see art but when they're actually physically attacking the pieces and not being pulled away it's a pisstake.

  • my washing up hate is when the other half has chucked in the stupid sharp knife under the bubbles only to be found by my dainty soft fingers ( I have very soft hands ) washing up 101 do not leave sharp things hidden !

  • ^This. If I've boiled an egg in a saucepan it needs a quick rinse and then leaving to drain. If you throw a roasting tin with a thick layer of grease in with it and fill the sink up with water, now I've got 2 greasy things to wash up. Thanks!

  • ^ Mrs c00ps is a terror for this and then I'm the bad guy if/when I criticise it...

  • I've leaned not to criticise this sort of thing. I just seeth, vent to strangers on the internet and eventually let it create genuine rifts in our relationship.
