Second half of the ride was the best part Sparky ;)
That was really a fun ride. Thanks all

Further to my "just a bit of track league" comments, 2 of the VCL juniors were part of the GB squad that became team pursuit European Champions yesterday doing 4.01 for 4km....

I hope you showed them who is boss Phil.
-
• #1155
No doubt
Phil taught me everything I know about controlling races from the back

I just shout "move up Damo" at them in a totally hilarious manner

Poor Damo

What's the plan for tomorrow?

sounds amazing.
So White Bear as it's going to be a nice evening? I can lead a route out that has a few hills then we can bomb* back.
*pootling acceptable too.

Looks good to me! Probably slightly more sensible than girls school plus gangers if one is competing in the Herne Hill Azues Convene Path Racer for Track Cycling Summer League For Ladies and Gentlemen of South London the next day

The link didn't work on my phone, it just showed a direct route. For those that also had that issue:

Sorry again all for that! Thanks for waiting. Also it's a nice climb from the v bottom of Woldingham, can get a good rhythm going. It got a bit harder tho when I had to talk on the phone and admit I got lost while climbing :(

Next time we'll do the full Woldingham Hill with you and do one less CP hill to avoid the horrible descent into South Norwood.
The partial lunar eclipse after the White Bear was stunning, I wish we had stopped for a better look!

Couldn't do this week, or next week, so aiming for Thursday hills this will.
Would welcome some company to help me keep an eye out for sneaky post office vans. Slightly later depart than usual - 7 from the Camberwell side of Camberwell Grove.

Tomorrow is going to be SCORCHIO!
A proposition:
No White Bear, only one south hill but a 40 mile ride to the Plough Inn in Eynsford and back for a pint and a paddle in the river.Cons
Might be a bit too long for Bad Dads and PhilPros
The cooling River Darent
A pint whilst paddling
The Waterlink Way and Jubilee Country Park can get us there
Some countryside lanes
Crossing beyond the M25 -
