I'm replacing a 3x8 Deore lx on my Marin for 1x9/10 and would like the ability to swap my loop-bar for drops. So out with the old in with the new I guess.

SRAM 10-speed is you friend. Flat bar or drop levers work with 10-speed MTB rear dérailleur, including optional clutch variants.

Thanks! The exact actuation. I had it in the back of my head somewhere. Thanks for your replies :-)

Will use either XT or TRP cx9 vbrakes methinks.
