In 2016. She talks about riding with Evan in an interview I watched a while back and that he helped her pace the ride for a while. Their trackleader dots are pretty close for a large part of the race if you watch the replay of it on their site. Evan won the race in record time the next year.

There is probably stuff here too, haven't read it yet.

Our best chance at catching Steffen is to ride together, to help each other through the nights and keep a good pace. “Let’s do it, Evan. Let’s go catch him.”

I know there was shit going down on Farcebook at the time too.

Not seen videos but there are still photos of them riding together, and they didn't deny it.

I asked Mike about it before indypac. Understandably he didn't want to say explicitly that he thought she should have been disqualified as he didn't know all the facts, not his event etc. But he said that while he was happy for people to ride side by side and chat for a couple of hours, one of his main definitions of people riding non independently was if they stopped together and started again together the next morning, which they did night after night. And if someone did that on TCR they would not get a place in the general classification.
