Does the 931 feel significantly different to the standard frame for the extra cost?

I've only ridden the 931, but the attraction for me was longevity and looks rather than any ride quality difference although I'm sure there will be a difference. Also I got it through my local friendly bike shop for a reasonable price.

By coincidence I saw one at my LBS today. May see what they can do ...

Also @mi7rennie how do you find those kojak tyres? I put some 20" ones on my girlfriends shopper and was impressed by them.

I think the last set were from ebay.de. They seem to be more popular on the or bikediscount.de

They are actually a comparable weight to the ones @edscoble posted up thread but not such a racy construction.

Must be something about the name Andrew, that's my preferred stance every 5 miles on any given cycle too.

Initial impressions are good - I found the steel forks a bit harsh and this seems to have smoothed out that feeling a bit.

Heavy bike is still heavy.
